I feel sorry for today's Nickelodeon viewing audience. We all know that the late '80s and throughout the 1990's, the network was at their apex of quality programming (cue listing and recalling all the awesome shows...GUTS, Rocko's Modern Life, Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, You Can't Do That on Television, etc., etc., etc.). The only good thing they get these days is Spongebob I guess...even though half the jokes are for us older folk (or OLDER older folk...is it weird that some of the jokes I don't get my mom does?).

I guess economic strife has also affected these guys. I'm sorry, but I'm not buying the whole wanting-to-be-themselves bit. If these dudes have the energy and stamina to go on the road again, playing gig after gig, night after night, then they certainly have the energy to run around, do their special effects, and wear their wigs. Somebody cut these guys a stimulus check so they can put on a REAL show.
